In all of our dreams, we get marooned on a tropical island with beaches as far as the eye can see and lazy waves lapping at our feet. This sort of place does exist and is called Ibiza's beaches - the playground of the pretty people.

What makes these beaches so sought after by tourists from all over the world as well as those lucky enough to live on the island, is the interesting fact that you can reach any beach you like by car and within 30 minutes, no matter where you are on the island.

Unlike other coastal beaches, you do not have to put up with annoying children or noisy teens, you simply get going and find another beach to suit your mindset of the day. Because the beaches are so close to each other and easy to reach, people migrate to where they want to be constantly.

For a more relaxed time spend in the sun, simply find a less populated beach where you can rent your deck chair and even have a very attractive beach attendant carry it for you. Summer temperatures soar up to very high levels, so do take some sun protection as well as water with you to avoid getting sun stroke.

Certain months of the year do have a windy day or two on Ibiza, but that will never stop you from enjoying your day in the sun. Should the wind be blowing on this side of the island, chances are great that the opposite side is having a wind less day, so simply hop on and go see for yourself as the other side of the island is so close you will be surprised.

Every youngster dreams of the day he or she will strut their stuff on the balmy beaches of Ibiza and so every summer the place becomes one massive party that never gets quite or stops the music - not even for a minute. Should you tire of this quickly and need some peace, simply choose less popular beaches that time of year where you probably will find all the like minded people.
